Smile Nothing to do with trucks

For some reason I can't put a smilie on my post. I checked my settings and couldn't find where they could be turned on or off. Anyone had this happen?

When I first started all I had to do was click on one on the right side and it would appear on the post but not anymore. :-) I don't know if it is a setting where I disabled them or what. :-(

When you "start" a thread w/ a post, the smiley menu appears on the right by default.

If posting a "quick reply", click on the "Go advanced" icon, to make the smiley menu available.

Same thing happened to me after Internet Explorer auto updated to 11, go into your control panel>programs>View installed updates> Internet Explorer 11 and select uninstall.

P.S. To keep it from auto installing again, look in the toolbar above and click Help> About> uncheck install new versions automatically.

.

Reminds me of the Walter Mitty movie previews. "I can't seem to be able to leave a hug for someone"

Thank you, you were exactly right . How did you ever figure that out? I'm glad you did I kinda like the little smilies.

Been surfing the net since before Al Gore invented it I like the smilies as well and set upon immediate trouble shooting when I hit the anomaly.

I got auto updates stopped, they have to go through me to be installed. It is amazing to me that you figured it out. You are very smart with computers. And I thank you again sir. My computer seem to work faster and better even! You are 'da man!
