Question NEW POSTS for Certain Forums?

On some of the other forums I frequent, the user has the option of not showing New Posts from certain forums. For example, I have no interest in the Pre 1997 forums. Is there an option to disable certain forums when clicking the New Posts link at the top of the page?

Thanks!

That WOULD be quite helpful.

Thank you. www.imboc.com is the forum that allows it.

Did this ever get implemented? I tried the old vBulletin trick of adding an exclusion list to the end of the New Posts search and it didn't work.

This is what I tried to exclude the "Off Topic" forum:

The Configuration link that Martian provided is for the Live product and is not for the Get New Search Results per the topic of this thread.

You had the right idea, and that trick does work, but it requires the forum id. Offtopic forum id is 15. Your example had f15 and so it was ignored by the system:

Apologies, BEPNewt and JT. I misread the problem.

Thank you, JT. Exactly what I needed.

I didn't know what the Live thing was, so your info helped me learn that, too, Martian.
