Hey all, we have had trouble finding which ad partner is responsible for these annoying pop-up ads. We have disabled a few partners that may be causing the problem this past week. Please let me know if you continue to get pop-ups.

I will admit the 'Pop-Ups' are becoming less frequent.
They were at times actually blocking a photo or part of the thread on my Tablet.

 

On your tablet, do you use the regular site or the mobile version? Or the app?

 

I use the GT app to access the forum on my tablet.
This is what an ad looks like on my tablet.

 

I did the GT app updated March 6, now pop up ads, all over the forum. I'm using I phone 6.

 

GT shouldn't be serving popups... the ads in there should be all embedded

 

I'm okay with the ads. They only overlapped a few pictures a couple times.

 

The ads that cover up 1/2 the post are irritating as hell- but IB is raking in the ad money, so i doubt it will stop.

 

It probably will, given enough complaints. Problems mean the app stops getting used, and apps not being used means ads not being seen.
