I keep getting these warnings also on mobile, where I have AVG installed. I frequent many web-sites on my phone and this is the only one I get these warnings on.

I don't know how many times I've said this... It is neither a virus, nor any other kind of malware. It is sh***y, cheap advertising, hijacking the browser using simple tactics, meaning a popup followed by an alert prompt. It is not a problem with the site itself, and no malware protection program is going to stop it because it is not malware. It's a problem with who Internet Brands hired to lease third-party advertising space on the site.

Agree. And the fact that it's been an issue for months and months says that Internet Brands doesn't give a rat's behind about the user experience on their site. Of course the other leading F-150 forum is also owned by Internet Brands, so there is no "go somewhere else".

Frustrating. I know if I found a better forum I'd be gone in a minute with this lousy user experience.

I wouldn't go that far. I think they have too small of a dev team and spend all their time trying to work with the Forum Runner people to fix the app they bought to get it to work better with all their sites, which is a slow process with a small team. They should've never bought Forum Runner and just let them do their thing, maybe just contracting with them for use of the app.

But the issues are not confined to Forum Runner. I get them on my tablet using the Chrome Browser, on my phone (same), and sometimes but rarely on my PC using Google Chrome.

They could easily tell their agency / ad company to get this stopped if they wanted to.

I know. The Forum Runner (Garage Talk) and mobile / web browsing issues are two separate problem sets.

I'm going to try a different anti-virus. See if that helps...

I have found Dee Browser for android (which has built-in ad blockers) has given me an advertising free experience on mobile....
