Sorry for feeding fuel to the fire but I grossly overestimated what mods did on this forum (not a bad thing). For the future I have a better understanding of how this forum can be policed. But to me if a thread is giving headaches to the mods just close the damn thing. And move on regardless of whining from members we all know there's no free speech issue here so outside of a few ruffled feathers what would be the harm.

To that point i see the thread has been closed, slow goings on my phone.

You must be a little Psychic. All this drama did in fact result in a Thread Trashing!

...But to clarify, that Thread itself did nothing wrong. It takes member's action's to get a Thread canned.

Popcorn anybody?

My 2 cents worth. I am a new user here so I don't know any of the personalities of the posters, but I'm amazed at the civility of this place. I am the admin for a site known for its political discussion area, at times I just want to throw the keys on the bar and let the inmates take over. While we allow posters to push the envelope much farther than here, it's still a beast to run at times.

I really appreciate the work perform by the mods here, I've only seen one thread get shut down, not so much for abusive language but for the way It was trending. Any way, it's encouraging to see that a forum site can be operated in this manner.

Ok back to our trucks.

Alright, I guess my statement may have been uncalled for. All I meant was that Raider, sometimes your posts are just as innapropriate as some of these teenage boys. I can handle it though, I'm a big boy.

Thanks for the positive feedback As already stated, us Mods are not above the 'law', but we are also human. If I make an obvious mistake, call me out on it. There is a difference between constructive critisism and just being a jerk though lol. I feed better off of the latter...

KR, I understand your frustration. I myself, am guilty of being less than mod-worthy at times... But admitting is the first step, right? Lol, if there is something that you feel I can improve on as a Mod, feel free to let me know by the way of PM or otherwise.

socioeconomically disadvantaged... Is the same thing as "G.....H....R" When using the politically correct term to not offend anybody.... People who are socially at a disadvantage are usually the people on government assistance and unemployed...

Now that actually offended me..... But I admire the attempt..
