How do I delete my account? I haven’t used this in years and want it gone.

 

usually not a thing, just dont use it anymore. You can turn off all your email notifications so that stuff goes away

Its undeleteable.

 

They're not undeleteable, but we prefer not to do it because what you have contributed to the forum may help the next person. We typically, if you like, change your username to something not tied to you (I usually use a UUID), but leave your email in place (not findable by others) so that if you ever want to, you can come back and use your account again. And in that case, we can change your username back to something you want, if it's available. Does this work?

I do it :-)

 

Done. You now have a UUID as your username, and I turned off MOST of your email notifications. You will still get emails if forum staff (admins or mods) send you a message, for whatever reason.
