On this forum, and this forum only among the many where I participate, when I click the redirect icon in a quoted post it takes me to the first post in the thread rather than to the quoted post. Anyone else have that frustrating experience? I'm running MS Edge browser in Windows 10 Pro and do not have this problem on any other forum.
Is it possible for an Administrator to make this common-to-the-online-forum-industry feature work as it should?
Can you provide a link to a quoted post that is not working for you so that we can look at the same example?
This appears to be working normally for me, so we need to see an example that isn't working.

When I click that redirect, which is to my post just above his, it sent me back to the first page of the thread. Instead of taking me right up above to post 7232.

EDIT - when I click the hyperlink in this post it DOES redirect 'correctly' to your post #2,
EDIT - FYI my Thread Display Mode = "Linear - Oldest First" and Number of Posts to Show Per Page = "Use Forum default"; the hyperlink seems to work correctly in short threads where all of the posts are displayed on one Page in my browser view.

Thanks for the information. We'll investigate this further. I can confirm it appears to be under specific conditions as I've discovered, after more review and with your additional information, it is not working correctly in all conditions.

I see the same thing - the quote links don't work for me most of the time. The difference seems to be in some situations an index is required in the URL and in some it isn't.
