Default Can you turn off related thread

Finally figured out why guys are posting to years old threads. If you are fast scrolling to the bottom, you may be responding to an ancient "related thread" instead of the one you wanted.

Any way to turn off the related threads?

Used to be in User CP and edit options. Not there now.

Okay but, it says CP and edit options. Can't find either option there any more.

It is there but this option is only available to turn on/off for the desktop version I'm pretty sure. Are you using desktop or mobile?

At the time I checked I was on my Mac using Safari. I even searched for “inf” and “rel” on the page and didn’t find it As that is how I found it before when the site was changed. Even scrolled through and read and dropped down every drop down list to make sure the wording wasn’t changed. It still honors my settings. I was just dying to help the OP.

Yeah sorry, my reply should have been more directed at the OP. On a desktop go to UserCP, then on the left side Edit Options and scroll down to thread display section.

I know but, last night when I was replying I was on my iMac and I did not see those options. I went there initially to confirm it was there before givin him incorrect information. That is where I remember it being before and I know it was there before as I did change the setting. When I get home, I will take another look as I am on my iPad now.

Please note, it will only turn off related threads on desktop, or on a tablet viewing the desktop theme. It will still display on a mobile device.

Yep. On my iMac now. Still no options as shown. How do I tell if I am being served the desktop theme or the mobile?
