Forgot to mention, the new boost gauge has multiple backlight color options. The only reason it also needs 12v constant is for memory so it always returns to your set color upon startup.

That wire I'd connect directly at the battery. Ground wire can be any metal part attached to the body, there's a couple very good grounding points on the driver side near the parking brake, ya can't miss them as they have some black wires with loop connectors bolted there behind the plastic kick panel.

G200 as shown...

I already connected the ground when I mounted the gauge. I grounded to one of the bolts just inside the drivers door jamb where the dash structure bolts to the body. Nice secure paint free connection. I picked up a fuse holder and 3amp blade fuses tonite to wire constant directly to battery. Gauge mfgr recommends 3amp!
