Clearly the cops like u guys better then me cause the first time they said they didnt see my brake lights before going down a hill so assumed i was speeding then said oh btw these need to be removed. They cant pull you over for tint alone but they always make excuses for me lol

It really depends on where you live if they hit you up for it or not. Try talking to other people in your area with tint. I've never been pulled over for tint here in MD but I have seen cops looking over at my truck. Always tryin ta catch me ridin dirty...lol. Around here they seem to be more interested in the cars with dark tint than the trucks.

I have a question regarding the yr the laws were enacted. If the vehicle is older than when the tint law was instated, can ya get by with a grandfather clause of sorts? Nevada for instance, passed the law in 93 for a net of 28% on the front sides. Can I get by legally with say....20% on my 89? Funny thing is....Boulder City police cars have what I think are 5% on all but the windshield, and that's not right! IMO they shouldn't be allowed to have what every other Joe can't have.

I can tint all windows with limo tint including the windshield on my LeMans. I don't know the cutoff year but I know I can do it to the LeMans, which is a '72. I also don't have to wear my seatbelt.

Got pulled over in Savannah, Georgia in my old car. Legal there is 35%. I had 20%. Cop made me peel it then and there.

My truck... its got 35% and i'm not happy with it. It isnt dark enough. I also dont have any tint on the rear window. It was all focked when i purchased the truck, so i peeled it and scraped the adhesive off, so i need to replace it.
