Default Why do Dodges seem to sit Higher?

So I have a 2016 F-150 King Ranch (Love the truck) and now I'm working on ordering a new 2018 Platinum but before I make the commitment there's one thing that really bugs me, and that's the Dodges just seem physically Larger (Don't ask why but I like it, and I notice the ladies seem to like Dodges more).

My neighbor has one and his hood sit about 2.5/3.0 inches higher than my own.

Just asking, no trolling please.

Ive noticed that our hoods are flat, and their are more.. bulbous.

Just the way the metal is bent..

Don't worry about the ladies, they all want the bigger ones until they have one and realise it isn't that great after all.

Lol

Naw, just seems like the Dodge is built "Meaner". Id be curious if I could get the extra height into my truck from a lift and some better tires and without ruining the ride quality.

The dodges do have a nice look to them in my opinion. That's the problem. Opinion. Not everyone likes the new style, but I do appreciate how they stayed kinda like the 1994 ish rams. Look at a ram, you know its a ram. It has an identity. Familiar. Same with our f150s.

The front end design of that truck was centered around the very large Cummins diesel engine. Hence the high center. A unique and standout look for sure. Well they decided to be opposite of Ford and kept the design through the whole line rather than having a different design for the half ton trucks. The HD and half tons have since split from each other a bit but the half ton has kept that higher hood.

Ram is a good looking truck. But their platform is somewhat outdated. To me, this is the order of largest to smallest:

F150 > Tundra > Ram > Silverado/Sierra

Wonder if there's a good lift kit out there that would give me some extra height and keep the quality of the ride

A simple leveling kit with some add-a-leafs would get you same size as Ram and would not spoil your ride.
