Default white underbody lights

i was thinking of getting some white underbody lights just on the sides of the truck and hooking them up to my alarm dome light so when i unlock the truck they come on. and then putting the 2 short ones under the bedrails so when im getting stuff out of the bed(when i camp i usually keep my food in the bed under the tonneau cover) i can turn them on. just looking for opinions on whether i should do it or not.

I always liked the bed light when I would get into the truck at night. I cannot imagine that more light would be bad. Sounds like a good idea to me. Are you going to wire them to a switch that you can control, or straight into the factory wires.

if i do it, i will put a switch near the tailgate to turn them on in the bed, but the ones by my steps will turn on when i unlock the truck. as far as rocks and ice, when i was younger and fast and the furious came out i had them on a car and only broke one because the ziptie i used broke and it fell, never had a problem with snow or anything else.

You can always put a switch on the tailgate, like the doors. Open the tailgate and the light comes on.

well, i got hooked on busch light by a friend of mine, so i usually have busch light, pop and food. but we keep our fire away from the truck so i dont need to find that in the bed of my truck. and i dont play guitar though
