Default What are these items?

These three things were in my glove box. I don't see anything in the manual.

One has to do with "electric trailer tow."
I assume it is suppose to connect to a trailer with electric brakes. Should it not have come to me already installed?

The smaller item is labeled "rear video camera protective cap.

And those keys?? Any ideas? The salesman said they were to unlock the spare tire access but the ignition key does that.

The rear view camera wiring cap is for when/if you remove your tailgate, the wiring you un plug from your truck to tailgate doesn't get all dusty and muddy

Keys probably go to the tie down inside the box of your truck

Not sure on the other wire harness

Thank you for your reply. I had just figured out, and confirmed, that those little keys unlock the box link tie downs.

The wiring harness adapts a generic trailer brake controller to the built in plug on the vehicle i.e. the plug on the harness attaches to the vehicle. The wires splice onto the TBC. On my '12, the connector was behind the dash, just behind where my right knee would be.

Thanks Rick. What's the TBC? (Edit: trailer brake controller?)
Is this something that should have already been installed from the factory?

Not sure on your year but it was an option on my 2013. Came with the tow package and 302a option.

Yeah like I said, not sure on your year what options were/are available. Ford changes that stuff up from model to model, year to year, trim package to ,...well you get the idea.

My '08 had those things in the box too, except the keys.
