Default What the heck is this!?

I just bought a used 2012 F-150. First F-150, love it. Anyway it has the SYNC Radio system with the usb and aux input under the radio. This is installed under the steering column and I have no idea what it is. It does look like a aux jack, but it has a red light on it and I don't want to just go sticking things into random holes (sigh). It has 6 wires coming out of it and is fused under the dash. Any ideas?

Not a clue. I'ed take it back to where it came from and have them remove all traces of it and start your own modding from there.

It's a tracking device. The gubberment knows where you are and what you're doing at all times.

Without knowing where the wires from it connect to, its a guessing game.
