these lights are LED and rectangle. i want to put the strip of three on for my running lights and the other two i just want to wire them up for turn signals that would go on when ever ij put my blinker on. if i put those two extra on, one for right turn and one for left turn. cause that has two funtions for the left and right turn signals could i burn out the lights?

See no problem as long as the center three are wire together to the Brn/white, and the outside bulbs to the respective color. Your idea is right on. As long as the LED is for 12 volts, you are good to go.

now if i just put the 3 lights on their and get rid of the 2 i wanted to add on for turn signals coul i just splice the 1 and 3 light to work for either turn signals? if i hook them up to my trailer connector they will all be on for parking lights and the two end ones will light up for brakes and either turn. if i do this can i burn the two end ones up?

Am a little confused, sounds like you want to downsize to three lights. All on for running and the outside for two for turn and stop. Answer is no, unless the outside #1 & 3 have dual filaments. Not sure LED's come that way. You can have 1 & 5 as turn/stop and 2 thru 4 as running. Hopefully more exprienced guys will tune in.

sry to confuse u. thats wut was wondering if it had to be double filaments. i will probably go with 5 lights. just one more question, are the brake and turn hooked up to one filament on the tail light and the other filament for the running lights.

A 4 plug connector has 4 circuits. 1st, Brakes; lights both turn signal filaments at the same time. 2nd, left turn; lights the left turn signal filament. 3rd, Right turn; lights the right turn signal filament. 4th, parking lamps; lights the Park lamp filament or a separate parking light. If you Google it you will find combination Park / turn led bulbs.
