What to due!?
Well Guys I think opportunity is knocking at my door. So today I drop off my gf and overhear her step brother talking about selling his truck since he already has another gas guzzler, Its a 2000 F-250 with a 6" Fabtech lift and on 37 Goodyear Wranglers, with mickey thompson alloys and about 135,xxx miles on it, He was gonna put it on the market for 5,000 to sell it quick, well joking I said If i had that cash I would buy it in a heartbeat, well after laughing he said he would sell it to me for $3,000 FLAT! I couldn't believe it, I don't know if I should sell my truck and buy his, he said he would give me the time to come up with the money. I don't know but I think I can maybe get 4k for my truck. What should I due??

I was gunna say that but didnt want to become the forum grammer police. Lol.
I wish i had gotten a deal like that. i bought my bone stock 4.6 2000 f150 SCab for 5k plus 1500 in repairs with 120k on it already. Id take that deal even if it was for the $5000. the lift and tires in itself probably cost at least half that if not all of the $3000 your buying it for. i'd take the deal but everyones situation is different.

The V10 is a 6.8L, sounds like a great deal to me. The V10's are really strong and will turn those tires with ease. Did he regear the truck for the tires or no? My V10 is a '99 with 33's on it and i get about 10-12 mpg with mostly highway driving, not sure how much the 37's will affect mileage or power w/o a regear. Most guys with the V10 that do a lot of hauling upgrade to a 4.10 or 4.56 from the stock 3.73 if i'm correct. Just saying make sure you calculate any extra costs like gas each week and possible a lot higher insurance. The guys at this site, http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum49/ , can help you out a lot more on any questions you have, they know a lot. I'd say buy it. Too bad its not a 3V tho. I'm guessing KBB would put it around $5000-$6000
