wet leaves
I have a 2001 F150 SuperCrew with a 4.6 liter Triton I was driving down a city street at 25 miles per hour during the city leaf pickup there were spots that was clean pavement and spots that just had leaves randomly scattered around not a leaf pile as my truck transitioned from the pavement to the leaves and then back of the payment it feels like my front end is sliding back and forth like I'm on ice the tires are brand new less than 800 miles on them the shot that put them on said the front end looked good I have checked for bad wheel bearings and ball joints and tie rods and can't find anything wrong with it it drives straight down the road but the first time the roads got slippery I noticed it was wondering all over I did just replace the idler arm assembly the shop said my alignment checks out any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Driving on wet leaves is the next best thing to driving on ice. It's not the truck, its physics.

Wet leaves can be pretty slippery and slick, your truck can act like it's driving on ice.

It’s gettin to be that time of year for snow and ice anyway so go pick up some tube sand and toss it in the bed. Make sure you put it over the rear axle as placement does make a difference

Pulling my '12 out of the pole barn and up to the house last weekend, heard the traction control ticking away when I put it in drive and was barely on the gas. Didn't even realize I had a wheel start to spin on wet leaves in the grass!
