True, PB isn't that great as a lube for very long. If this was a fix, it'll be getting douched with fluid film, or whatever Robert recommends.

I'd use a liquid silicone spray lube. It has more lubrication and penetrating qualities, it'll stick around a while as well. It seems WD40 has a new spray that should work great.

That's good to hear. Too bad that wouldn't have solved the issue with the Devil!

Hey Robert, that's exactly the stuff I've got. Bought it last fall to squirt the weather stripping on the Ranger.

The name alone says it's quality and just ordered a can my self to retire an old can of regular WD I've had for at least 7 or 8 years.

Yeah, they did not want it sitting on their lot, and sent it straight to auction. The Used car guys were impressed with the Forescan mods with the temps on the dash and the folding mirrors, and they especially liked the GT screen on start up, but that truck drove like crap.

I wonder if this will last longer than the Blaster silicone that I have been using on my trailer. The guides for the awning and the latches on the door need it occasionally, the awning makes a terrible racket when extending/retracting and the door doesn't latch well unless I spray it all down a few times a season.

Guess I should update this. Lubing the ujoints seems to have cured it. I called my dealer two days before my appointment, and cancelled it.
