Default Warranty Replacement

I bought my truck about 3 months ago and since then I've received four different letters in the mail offering a "Replacement Warranty". Its a 4 year old truck at 48,000 miles so it past the basic manufacturer coverage and I checked with Ford, but nothing extended was purchased by the original owner. The offers are not from Ford or the dealership where I bought the truck. There actually isn't any type of company name on any of the letters, only a phone number to call. But they do know exactly what kind of truck I've got.

Does anyone know why I'm getting these? These can't be legitimate offers, right? I'm guessing the dealership gave my info out to some people. They started coming in about a month after I bought the truck and about a week after I requested my build sheet and warranty info from Ford.

EDIT: Sorry if this is normal when buying a vehicle. This is my first time buying.

i think this is a normal thing when your factory warrenty runs out, mines an '02 and ive only had it for 2 years, i think i just got one of those warrenty things in the mail somtime at the end of '09(even though my truck has been out of warrenty for a while, probably bcz i was a new owner). i believe we got one for our '07 jeep commander as well.

I get crap like that sometimes. The funny thing is my newest vehicle is 23 years old.
