Hey guys and gals.
So I just bought a 2015 F-150 XLT 3.5L Ecoboost, and I want to change the headlights to LED's or HID's. But I've heard that for some reason the computer doesn't recognize the new wiring and the HID lights won't work. Is there a way to override that? And can I buy LED Lariat headlights and install them on the XLT and if so would I need to do some new wiring for that?

I'd like to know this too. I've got a 17 and would love to do a simple LED swap if possible. I want it to be correct though and not want to have to guess what housing and what bulbs to use.

I changed to LEDs on my 17. Nothing additional was needed. You need to take the headlight out, but it only takes a few minutes each side.
