Default Lightning

Ok, not going nuts here, at least not yet, but I was in my garage watching a storm just now when lightning struck a mile or so away, and my horn beeped twice about 5 seconds apart. Anyone else experience this?

Truck started fine afterwards.

Crazy comments welcomed.

I think there's a FORScan code for turning that feature off.

It's Fords patented, Close Proximity Lightning Awareness System, or CPLAS.

We actually line our military airfields with F150s for a lightning within 5 nautical miles warning.

When you hear them honking.... Time to verify aircraft grounding straps, shut down equipment, and get to shelter lol.

I've heard it's popular tech within the DOD and civilian sectors.
