Default Using rear view for "normal reflection" or as a "viewer" from a rear facing camera

Does anybody know if any of the 2018 trim levels provide an option to switch the rear mirror from its normal reflective purpose to a viewer for a rear view camera, that you could keep on at all times when you were driving forward. When I have my tinted canopy on the back, the normal cabin rear view mirror is of no use

No, keeping it on at all times would be illegal in most if not all jurisdictions (in the US at least).

Not sure where you got your info from but it's erroneous. In our fleet we have several hundred vehicles with full time rear view camera monitors. Commercial vehicles have a lot stricter rules than privately owned.

I have Coastal Lock pick in my Mustang and that allows that, but it would be an Expensive way to turn it on. I needed it to unlock my Navigation screen so my Back-up Camera would work is the reason I have it.
