Default USB Device File Organization

Just bought a 2025 F150 XLT. Put in my USB thumb drive with a bunch of folders organized by music and talks, authors, artists, etc., but the radio didn't show any of the folders or organization, just a list of the audio files. Is this expected, or is there a way to organize files and folders that the F150 radio understands?

I have an option to display the USB by folder in my 2023. Ford's USB support leaves some to be desired. My selection isn't remembered and I have to select it each time I start the truck. The back key doesn't always back out one level at a time so I have to start back at the main Browse menu.

My phone won't hold 3000'ish CD's and around 1000 ripped vinyl. Yes I've ripped all of it to USB drives but it isn't really that much if you consider it was accumulated over 50 years or so.

3300+ albums, 57,000+ tracks, 475GB. As you say, a lifetime of music.

I gave up on trying to use the vehicle's system. Since I mainly drive by myself, I put 10-20 albums at a time on my phone, and Bluetooth stream them. Then a week or two later, a different 10-20.

MP3Tag is your friend!
