I have a 2015 XLT F-150. I upgraded my reg mirrors to the factory Tow package ones and I cant get the auto extension or the power fold to work. I upgraded the switch panel as well. But when we try to use the software to turn them on we get a error message that it won't write to it. I have the 22 pin harness. Does anyone have any suggestions to what the problem maybe? I was also wondering if I have the right harness? Talking to the ford guys, there is several harness. I don't have the bliss system......

There's an entire thread on this Retrofit Power Fold Tow Mirrors to XLT. My suggestion is to look there. Did you rewire the harness or replace the door harness with ones from a Lariat? That's part of the process. You also have to do some wiring under the dash for the power extend and retract.

 

I bought the factory harness. The harness is for a Lariat.

 

You will need new door modules that support BLIS in order to get Power Fold working. Read through the thread hunter99 linked to it has the part numbers. Then you can do the programming in ForScan.

 

 

I will be selling the reg mirrors soon. I have the factory harness to go with them. I'm not sure what I will be asking for them. They are the standard mirrors with blinker lights only. So if you would like to make an offer, I will be glad to entertain the idea of selling them.
