You're right about that. It cost $700 just to ship the new wheels and tires out here, but I didn't pay any of that. I will eventually head back to the mainland because I don't want to permanently live in Hawaii. If I get selected for the CMDCM program I have no say in where I do that first CMC tour, could possibly end up in San Diego. I can't go to Monterey because there are no AGCM billets at the command there, used to, but they lost it a couple years ago. Heck they even recently lost their lone AGCS billet so their senior enlisted is now an AGC. The Navy is downsizing all over and the AG's have been very hard the last 4 years losing over 500 billets in that time.
