I got a 5 wire door actuator by mistake but as all said just found the wires that control the lock to use. wired them through to the harness connections points.

I see a neg pulse to lock I think and Pos to Unlock or visa versa. cant remember off had but you get the idea.

it does not seem to work. I cannot make the tailgate lock actuate and when I hook up the two wires from the tailgate the lock click very rapidly...like Im crossing wires or something...happens either way I hook them up.

Anything I need to do special with a 5 wire actuator....like supply it with power and a ground or what. I could make work manually so I dont get it all......
