I've been doing a lot of fishing lately and usually throw the trolling motor in the back of the truck bed. This of course leads to damage from obvious reasons. I was wondering if anyone had fab'd up a holding/mounting system in the back of their truck beds for their trolling motors? (I've seen the awesome rod holders built here)

I was thinking of building one myself as I haven't been able to find any examples anywhere but I thought I'd check here first! I was envisioning a foldable/stow-a-way mounting system that could be bolted to the side of the bed. Maybe design a trolling motor + marine battery holder all in one. Let me know what you guys think.
