Default Transmission glitch?

So, 1600 miles in 4 months of around town isn't much of a break in but it
ain't gonna get worn out at this rate either. So I went up my buddy's
11 degree driveway last night and for the heck of it I put it in that Granny
LowLow '1' way down at the bottom. I've never used it before. So I get to
the top of the 100 yard driveway and throw it in Reverse. Nothing! It just
revved when I stepped on the gas. OK, so I put it in Neutral and back in
Reverse, still nothing. Then I put it in Park and then in Reverse and the
universe returned to what it should be but now I'm thinking

"this isn't right."

Anybody experience or hear of this? Will this little glitch show up in the
'puter if I take it in? Am I being a worry wort?

Not normal at all, the trans (if stopped) when shifted to any gear, should engage immediately or at the most 1-2 secs. Could be as simple as a calibration update.

Thanks, I guess I better take it in. Trouble is I am leaving for a month in a week.
Maybe they'll give me a loaner for the day?
