You can do it through ForScan but when I did it on my 13 I didn't change anything as far as values go like mentioned earlier. There's an option to just disable TPMS. When I get off work later tonight i'll pull it up on my truck and post the pictures. I need to turn mine back on anyways since I have the programmer clicker now to sync mine.

Are your sensors bad? I have a set of them I have no use for currently that were sent to me by another member. You can have them.

It's a discussion forum populated by free people - not your slaves who only do your beckoning. If you had asked how to delete the emissions, you could expect a lesson on why it's not a good idea. If you ask how to defeat the anti-theft systems, you can expect a lesson on assisting car thieves. If you ask how to mix cocktails in the front seat, you can expect a lesson on DUIs. Just because you ask something doesn't mean we're inclined to give you THAT answer, if we (any one of us, or a majority of us) think it's dumb, immoral, illegal, or counterproductive to keeping the truck running well. So get used to getting information you didn't specifically ask for.

Does not work. Sensors go to sleep. Wake when wheel starts turning about 15 MPH. Your sensors would never wake.

You don't understand what TPMS is for?

TPMS is not to keep you from having to gauge your tire pressures.

TPMS is to give early warning when driving that a tire is losing pressure before it affects handling or self-destructs taking more things with it.

Had this argument with a motorcycle friend until one day he had a tire puncture and barely stopped without falling. We plugged his tire, reinflated, then moved my screw-on TPMS sensor to his wheel for the ride home. He ordered (3) different TPMS kits that night, later returned the (2) he liked less. I know he has had several more punctures since but not had the fear of getting stopped without wrecking.

Same has happened to me several times as well. Was returning from a 250 mile day flying down interstate when I noticed rear tire was down from its usual 47 PSI to 42 PSI, its cold pressure. 20-30 miles from home I kept watch as pressure fell. Arrived with about 32 PSI, not long before it could be felt under most situations.

There are several brands of aftermarket TPMS replacement sensors which support cloning. The ESN of your original sensors is written to the new. This way the vehicle doesn't know when winter/summer wheels are swapped. No relearn. $131 for (4) Autel MX at Amazon. The programming tool is about $200 but better tire shops have the tool and sensors in stock mostly because it is one sensor that fits 97% of applications due to its ability to be programmed to desired protocol at time of installation.

Great thread. I installed a new set of wheels/tires. The TPMS on my 18" wheels wouldn't come off w/o self destructing.

I went to Ford dealer (in a pinch) and bought a new set to the tune of $379.00. Yeah it was expensive but the safety of
myself and my precious cargo (Family) is well worth it. Replaced and filled tires to the instructed 43 PSI as indicated on
the door sticker. Sensors re-calibrated in less than 5 minutes at sub-highway speeds.

Sensors were an upgraded P/N from the original ones and can be swapped out to other wheels. I have found that older
units are not as consistent as they age.

Just a little insight and hope it helps someone out there on the interwebz.

FORScan can work but it's 2 different modules that need adjusting one to disable or change the warning, another to remove the dash display. I do not know how far back FORScan is applicable but disabled mine 4 years ago when I started using dedicated winter tires and wheels. As stated in the OP I do not mind using a gauge and do so often. Ya gotta look past the "thou shalt nottest doest whatest modifications thou shalt desire if thine modifications aren't part of the acceptable scriptures"

God forbid you turn off your seatbelt dinger or install brighter than factory lighting or an LED in your factory housing.

That's when the pitchforks and torches come out.

Tis overall a good forum.
