Default Towing Ability

I have a 2016 F150 3.5 non echo boost. On some places, it says I can only tow 5000 lbs. But on the others, it says I can tow up to 7600 lbs. Does anyone know what the correct amount I can tow is? I want to get a boat and this will decide what kind I get. I don't want to get to the boat ramp and not be able to pull it out. Again, I have the 3.5 NON echo boost.

Its a 4x2, super cab, and with the 6 1/2 foot bed. Not sure what gear ratio it is. Where do I find that? And it does have the electronic locking differential.

Without even looking I'd seriously doubt anything over 5000 and that might be pushing it.

I just found that. Its the 3.55 gears. So I guess then the 5000 lbs was correct.

It has a tow package. So I was thinking the 5000 lbs was only for the bumper towing ball. If you have a tow package which mine does, I thought you could tow more.

5k is all it is rated for.

edit you would have to have the 3.73 and 12200 gvcw to get the 7400
