Toolbox thread
Added the top box with shallow lo w bottom so my 5 gallon gas cans can fit under it,,, 2 gas cans, 2 water jugs, and gum-boot/ rain coat bag.

Then added a top box landing pad for my little quad to rest on, ply-wood door protectors, and short ramp to get on it.

Tool box $100, and air bags $70. most frugal packing system to-date on any of the units I've rigged up.

Plan worked out good since I lessoned the chance of bending the tail gate when I back into a power pole next week, Ha.

I don't have a decent full toolbox picture right now, and my truck is in the body shop right now, so these'll have to do for now.
Had my 3 toolboxes on for a long time, and had rear floods on a remote control system.

Got my headache rack on and took my sideboxes off. Here I was working on re-programming my light controller.

Only half-way decent picture I have of the inside of my box. This side is my electronics side. Now I have a group 27 deep cycle battery. The rest of my box is bags of tools, jumper cables, bottle jack, and some other cables and stuff. Will try to get pictures soon.
I was gonna start tomorrow, but im broke now and couldnt get any metal... we'll see. I should start at least before july. What happened to the intrest in this thread? Im the only one posting anymore...
Ask if you can tow 12,000 pounds with your 2.7 EcoBoost with a toolbox in the bed, if V8's should be eliminated by Ford for trucks with tool boxes, or whether to carry spare bottles of standard or synthetic oil in your tool box to get a vigorous (but repetitive) reply.
I keep my tools and tool box in the garage (41" stainless-steel Kobalt) and just use a plastic Kobalt hammer box when I need to take tools out to a job site.
