too good to be true!?
I know this is the f150 forum, but i was cruising craigslist last night and i came across a 1994.5 f250 powerstroke regular cab, long bed. Trucks clean as a whistle it looks wicked nice its got 120,000 on the clock and its never been tampered with besides exhaust and afe intake. Did i mention its a 5 speed stick!! Guy wants 8600$ is this too good to be true!? what should i look for when i go look at this thing, what should i be affraid of??
Thats a sick ride!... Be affraid of the clutch/flywheel... There pretty pricey. Looks likes its got the heavy duty hubs up front/ And rear axel (Cant really tell)
Battery age..Block heater(If you need it) ... Thats about it.. If it runs and drives good... Looks pretty damn solid.

I would be looking hard to see if it's mudded up first. It's low mileage for a nearly 20 year old truck, especially a diesel. But it may be clean. It's a reg cab that is again nearly 20 years old so 8600 isn't unfair for either party. Maybe the person needs cash, he or she doesn't seem to use the truck that often. Feel them out. I found a 96 a few years back it had 56000 miles and was clean but cheap so I was expecting the worse. I got there the guy was a mechanic and had 4 yellow professional sheets of records of everything he had ever done. Needless to say I bought the truck kept it for a year and made a grand on it. Don't be afraid to check it out. Good luck
