Default Tire Prices

I talked to a guy this morning at the local off road shop. He told me tires, all brands, all styles, all origins will be going up by 35% July,1.
Does the make any sense to anyone?

Maybe I should hold off on selling my open country m/t's for a little while, I would imagine a 35% increase will drive up the market for used tires.

I think there's something to do with the petroleum or some other crap or taxes are going up again....

3 bucks per tire fee for disposal I keep my old ones and sell them for 5 bucks to gardens they make great retaining walls LOL

They may already be up 35% at some stores. Recently, I priced two small tires for my boat trailer. 185 70R 13. Price at NTB was 225.00!!!!! I bought at a family owned operation for 1/2 that.
