Default F150 Stereo Settings

On my 2011 F150 my stereo will turn up all the way, I can crank the stereo, but when I start the truck it wont let me turn the radio up all the way, only about half way. Like it's a safety setting or something like that, i'm not sure. But i'm wondering if there's a way around that so I can listen to my radio louder as the truck is started.

Thank you.

If it's a NEW truck and has the MYKEY feature, then it may a profile setting for that key such as vehicle speed etc. This would be useful if you were letting your Teeny Bopper borrow the truck.

Typically, from the dealer both keys provided are set up as ADMIN keys but yours may have a different profile.

This is only a semi-educated guess

P.S. There is also a "Speed Compensated" volume control feature on the integrated radio but that's probably not your issue.
