the supercharger off the cobra will not fit on the 4.6l truck engine because the cobras motor is a 24v dual over head cam and the truck is a 16v single over head cam so they arent compatible... i know it kinda blows, i had an offer from a buddy to buy his stock blower from his cobra for 800$ and i was going to do it til i realized the diff between the motors.

i dont think he was saying to use the supercharger off the cobra on ur truck. but to find a cobra motor whole and swap that into ur truck instead of the stock 4.6 u have.

as far as performance, a supercharger will cost about $4,000. if you're not willing to spend that much get a tuner(edge, superchip, etc) and a new cold air intake system. These will help some but not like the supercharger. As far as the lift and 2x4 to 4x4 conversion, dont lift it unless you have 4WD. I think its pretty expensive for the conversions but probably well worth it if you're gonna lift it. Four wheel drive with stock tires and rims will get you through more mud than 2WD and lift w/ 35" Boggers. But if its just for looks i guess it doesnt matter. But i would be pretty embarassed if i was muddin and got stuck with a huge lifted truck when little stock toyotas with 4WD were passin by..

I aggree with that, most of the weight of a truck is in the front, now put that over mud, and you are screwed, lol

im almost positive that there same stoke
cobra - http://www.austinsvt.com/cobra/0304data
f150 - http://www.fordvehicles.com/trucks/f150/features/specs/
the specs or the f150 are on a 2007 cause its the best thing i could find on a f150 4.6 and the cobra is in mm but if you do some math it there...
i was real sure that the difference in a f150 and a cobra were just the charger and the heads being dohc
