Default Texas Edition 2021 XLT

Does anyone have information as to what the Texas Edition in a 2021 XLT actually includes?

Thanks for the welcome. I posted up in the introduction sub forum when I first joined this community, but hospitality is always appreciated.

I recently purchased a 2021 XLT with the "Texas Edition" package. I did an internet search but the results were all over the place as far as what the Texas Edition actually is.

I do know that this truck does not have auto stop and start. I'm wondering if that is part of that package and hoping it includes a delete for cylinder deactivation.

From that link:

"The Texas Edition also comes with the Ford F150 XLT(Extra Luxurious Truck)"

I never saw the XLT name translated like that. And given that the XLT is near the base level, it seems a bit wrong.

At one time XLT Lariat was the top of the line model for Fords.

I found that in my search but it seems like it is for an older truck and the information is outdated. I am looking for information on the "Texas Edition" as it applies to a 2021 model year.

His article also says it is dealer items. Mine identifies "Texas Edition" on the original window sticker as a factory option. The cost was small, somewhere around $275.

On my ‘08 SCrew, for what it’s worth, the Texas Package (“Texas/Oklahoma Package” on the window sticker) was basically chrome bumpers and the 18” wheels if memory serves correct. The badge as well! Can’t forget that!

my 2024 XLT Black Appearance package has a Texas Edition Badge.
On the window sticker, in the section for the FX4 package, it has a line item for Texas Badge. There is nothing else about the edition.

The dealer BS add-on that was part of the sticker:
ZakTek - Some BS "wax" after googling it. Looks like I will have to strip it before applying Adam's ceramic coating.
KaHu Security (LoJack) I told them I don't want that ****e so they did not activate it.
window tint (some cheap-****e probably no label stating who did it.,
bedliner (their stuff not lineX but they said lifetime guarantee...)
