Default taking off 4x4 decals

i have had my f150 for over a year now and was wondering if it was too late to take off the 4x4 decals. A little corner has been scratched off and the paint underneath does not look any different from the rest of the body. any ideas???

It shouldn't be too late, I don't imagine your paint would fade that much within a year.

heat gun or hair dryer with a razor blade. or if you have a harbor freight go their and get their decal remover thing. it is just a soldlering iron with a razor blade attached.

I removed mine in the summer of 2009 and my truck was made spring of 2007. Just waited till a hot day and slowly pulled them off. Use some goo-gone or something to get rid of the adhesive left over, wash and wax, it'll look good as new. My dad did his 2006 Fx4 the same time, you could see where they were when it was dirty (his truck is black), but after the wax it was gone.

Hairdryer and WD-40.... And your wifes fingernails if yours are anything like mine. Or a plastic bondo scraper
