Default Tail Light

2013 F-150 Super Crew, the bottom half of a tail light is out, blinker is twice as fast as the other. Are these a unit that has to be replaced, or a bulb that can be replaced. Thanks in advance.

As long as it is the OEM tail light, it is just a 4057 bulb. The assembly unbolts from inside the tailgate area then the assembly slides out.

It's either a Philips screw or a 10MM bolt, easy enough once you open the tailgate. Good Luck!

Your answer is in the owner's manual. » Maintenance » Changing Bulb
.
(owner's manual) Don't have one -OR- would like a digital, searchable desktop document?

I bought brand new mid level headlights for my moms Grand Caravan about 6 yrs back. They were of course aftermarket. Not the cheapest, and not the most expensive ones. Installed them and both leaked. I live in the Northwest. I was kind of ticked off about that.

I used flowable silicone around the seams on both. They were perfect after that. You can buy it at any parts store. I love that stuff. It is kind of runny in consistancy. Permatex brand called Flowable silicone windshield glass sealer.
