You're talking more like a greyish weathered looking woodgrain? I've never done it but if I get time And I have the paints in the shop I could whip up a sample. No promises cause I've got a pretty full schedule

Yea I could airbrush that, I'd do it more realistic though. Doesn't look super wood like to me almost looks like pinstriped ha. But I don't have the colors or toners at the shop currently for that color scheme

Yea probably won't get a chance ha, no offense but I'm not looking to go put some money into paint just to do a sample, if I had the paint no big deal, but you know how that goes

great project, i added the ipad mini into the dash of my 2011 silverado. Its def a fun mod to do. For mine i installed an aftermarket headunit being the headunit bezel and ran a cable from my mini that went to the AUX jack in the headunit and also split off to a AUX power port. Worked excellent, nice having the features, Navi, netflix, sat radio, and so on. fifield Fab ,makes the holders with push-to-lock.

This is the original rendering I did.

And actual product below
Damn that is gorgeous! I wish I had the skills to be able to do a mod like this to my truck! I would hate to know what a shop would charge to do this mod in full
