Default SYNC/radio Bluetooth

Anybody know if it's possible to broadcast from the radio to a Bluetooth speaker, and how?

That's a whole different system separate from the Ford SYNC. I have Bluetooth speakers that I want to connect to my F150's radio.

Im pretty sure sync only has inputs. that said you would need to get a line output convertor, run that to an amp, then to a deck with bluetooth output. Be much cheaper to stream from your phone... many apps like next radio have local stations or the stations themselves have streams. If its xm your after, use your account/ log in and stream it anywhere you want?

I just want it for the drive in theater. We sit outside on lawn chairs and watch the movie. I use a boom box now to listen to the movies on their station. Be nice to just use a Bluetooth speaker through the trucks radio, but not a big deal.

You don't mention what year truck but if it's newer, the radio will turn off before you even begin to watch the movie.

Your boombox is probably the best option.

Some phones have fm transmitters, I know some of the older HTC phones did, you could send that to a bluetooth speaker...not sure if newer phones still have that?

I want thto same thing for the same reason. No line out is the main problem since BT is not two way. IPhone does not have an FM transmitter and small devices that do have a horrible antenna that uses the input wire. In addition, no wireless speaker systems seem to have FM radios. It would also be nice if I could just sync headphones for long trips with the family.
