Default Sweeping gauges

2001 F150 XLT 4.2
Driving on the interstate yesterday and my RPM and speedo gauge start sweeping at 70 MPH. Got into town driving at idle and RPM gauge sweeps. Battery is fine.
Any suggestions as to what is going on?
The truck runs and drives just fine

Bad ground somewhere.
Cluster failing.
Alternator failing.
Aliens.
Are you sure the battery is ok? A battery with a failing cel can make some really weird **** happen.
