Superchips on 1990
1990 is OBD1, but I'd like to get a VIVID or a FlashPaq for my 5.0. Has anyone done that, or does anyone know if I can? And if you have, what's your results?
VIVID is pretty new, FlashPaq seems tried and true. VIVID seems like what I would want, but I haven't heard anything about how it works.
Any ideas or comments?

Unless I'm mistaken the FlashPaq only goes back to 97+ F150's and doesn't support older models. The only device I've seen that works is a Phoenix chip for older vehicles.

there are no computer add ons that can change the characteristics of the odb1 systems its mostly hardwired and little memory less the 215mb i am almost sure of that. you would have to get the ECU tuned and tweaked by a company and even then its only going to be for performance or towing
the ODB-2 1996 f150 might have some computer that can tune it but its still the first year for the odb2 systems in the f150s so the tuners will be limited.
I have looked into all the ECU options my self due to it being EFI and computer controlled. there is not much to do other then the classic engine mods and so on.
