hi forum i have a question/problem i have a 2000 4.6 4x4 f150 this truck is my pride and joy ride it has 198000 miles lately when i'm driving and the truck down shift the truck slightly pulls to the right making a popping noise i thought it was the wheel hub I replaced both sides but it still doing it. Any ideas thanks ahead of time

 

with almost 200k miles, sounds to me like its time to get a new truck

 

Im guessing that either the motor mount or the rear axel bolts are loose or broken.

 

What does that have to do with the transmission downshifting and front if the truck pulling right?

 

bad u-joints maybe?

 

I would try using somewhat proper sentences and explain better what's happening. What speed is this happening? What gear drop is it? Is it while you slowing down or a completely random down shift? Where the 'pop' noise coming from: tranny or wheel?

 

it happens on every down shift from 4 to 3rd gear also when i'm driving it has a vibration it feels as it was in the transmission
