Super cab vs. regular
I was about to pull the trigger on a new Supercab but In looking at the price difference and the better turning radius of the regular cab and I will probably opt to go with that. Has anyone compared the two driving/ride? Is it stiffer because it's smaller? I will probably treck out to the dealership to try one before I but I thought someone here might have experienced the difference. Resale is not an issue. Will keep this one for at least 12-15 years or longer.

just my two bits and not answering your questions,
go super cab.
We have a 96 ranger super cab ZERO rear doors, and I had a 98 F150 regular cab. If I took my bride anywhere in the F150 over night I had no room for even a guitar behind the seat!! I could not take it anymore, sold the 98 F150 for the 2013 F150 supercab. I've never regretted the larger cab.
I am extremely aware there are folks that say the same difference between super cab and super crew however I do not have kids at home nor do I have grand kids so a super crew vs a longer bed? I got the longer bed Supercab!
Quite frankly the Ranger was more family flexible than the 98 Regular cab even without the extra doors!

Love my RCSB, it has enough room behind the seats for coats, gym bag, tow straps. Drives fantastic, use it around the farm, can pull into center pivots and turn around without using a whole lot of space. If you need a truck and want to carry stuff in the cab, then go with one of the Super Cabs.
I had a crew cab with the 5.5' bed ...tried out a new F150 crew with the 6.5' bed...longer wheelbase. Tried it for one weekend. I saw a big difference. Went with the 5.5' like I had and liked. Everyone has a purpose and need for their truck and I know millions love their 6.5' bed.
I like longer bed. If your going to use the truck like a car taking friends and family out to dinner go with the shorter bed, and more room inside.
Like the options to be able to haul several more people in the back but as limited as its done, I buy a truck to pull with and bed space.
Longer wheelbase will handle better (smoother) and should ride better.
All depends on what your buying your truck for.

I've had all 3. Each has it's purpose. If you want to haul people, get a supercab or crewcab. If you want to haul stuff get a regular cab or super cab. The regular cab does have a lot of storage space behind the seat, especially if you make or buy and organizer. There's a lot of things that don't fit in the 5.5 bed.

The 15 RC's are now as cramped as Chevy/GMC RC's which is really sad.
