There are ways around that. Read here: https://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...hout-wifi.html

BUT, way more important, is, will it work while moving? I don't mind plugging in even, but don't want to order everything only to learn I can't see the screen mirroring while moving.

Anybody know?

I am not sure about F150s but majority of the after market systems require a little bypass that enables them to use all the function while driving.

I assume Ford is the same way and will require some sort of a jumper to enable the video on; while truck isn't in park.

Are you bale to upload a picture of all of the components/adapters you are using to mirror your device? I have purchased (and returned) several HDMI to Composite converters...none have worked for me thus far.

Thank you in advance!

If you want wireless then you can use Chromecast and mirror your Android Screen that way.

The Quality is awesome, the Text is clear and readable.

That is awesome, been looking for better options then 1500 dollars to get sync3.

(Edit: Well thanks for reviving this It is something I would not have looked into otherwise.)
