Default Stuttering at 40-60 mph

My 2001 supercrew 5.4 liter stutters when I accelerate between 40 and 60 mph. Any ideas what it is?

thanks.

KDR I was thinking that but since he said that it's doing it 40-60mph it made me think that it wasn't that.....is there a possibility that it is the ignition coil??

Thanks for the info guys, my mechanic should be taking a look at it Saturday. I will try to pass this info along. He is good, but every little bit of info helps.

Also, thanks for the welcome, I look forward to obtaining more info from this site in the future!
