Default Stuck in Mexico City

I got sent to Mexico City for my job, I will be here for 2 weeks and I dont speak spanish,,,,,,

And now there talking about sending me here more, so I guess I need to learn spanish,,, anybody try those learning programs and what works??

Rosetta stone is pretty good (But expensive). Ge the job to buy it if they are going to keep sending you there.

I Have used it for several deployments and it had worked well for me.

However... just walk around speaking english.... seems to work for 90% of the mexicans that live around here.

I'm using the Pimsleur method to learn Norwegian and it works best for me. Really you'll just have to find what works best and if you really want to learn.

Most english speaking mexicans are IN Mexico City. Youll be fine with english, just try to learn as you go. Just remember... its "cerveza" that you really need to get down! LOL

Yes Cerveza is one of the first words I learned but that was when I was in in south america...

But I would like to talk to the people im working with without an interperter,

I run a flea market that is almost 100% hispanic vendors and visitors. It's amazing the amount you'll learn when theres no english alternative
