Stinky air
Hi. I'm Barb and new to the forum. I smoked in my husband's truck and now the ac smells horrid. Is there an ac filter I can change out? At the moment that would be easier than quitting smoking. Help !!!
They make dedicate sprays for Deodorizing evaporators and the duct work. But I use lysol spray. Get a big can of your favorite fragerance open up the doors. start the A/C system and start spraying the lysol into the intake for the A/C system. It will pass through evaporator and out through duct work. When that is done go inside and spray into the duct work to get whatever stench remains. Leave the doors open to let the cab air out and that should do it.

another tip is to put baking soda inside the cabin, absorbs any unwanted odor inside. charcoal wood also works great. just make sure you put it on top of any pan or container to avoid messing the interior of your truck. Welcome to the forums by the way... enjoy your stay!

. You did not give the year or trim level of his truck, so we cannot tell you if there is the option of a cabin filter that can be changed.
