Default Spark Plug Class Action Suit

Since ford settled out of court with 2.2 million owners on 7/5, how has this impacted plug replacement? There has not been any sort of recall. Experiences?

Just looks like another story of someone complaining about plugs. I really don't ever see anybody getting any money for crap like this.

Oh but I have to respectfully disagree. With the circumstances of this case and the lawyers out there, I could almost guarantee there will some payoffs. To whom and how much will be another story.

The lawsuit alleges that Ford was well aware that vehicles it designed, engineered, and manufactured from 2004-2008 had defective spark plugs and related engine defects. The additional steps and tools created by Ford to remove the defective plugs did not prove helpful but rather caused more physical damage and economic strain.

Hmmm, I know plenty of people who removed broken plugs with the lisle tool.

Clearly you guys didn't pay attention to the title of this thread. Ford already settled this suit on June 5th. People are already getting paid. The question was if this has impacted fords price quote to change them. I found out it has not.

Looks like that class was only certified in Florida. The rest of us are still holding the bag until the rest of the attorneys start sending the mass mailers.
