I have a 2022 F150 Platinum Supercrew. The sound system randomly will blast static and then turn off the audio. Yiu have to reset to factory setting to regain audio. Anyone else have this problem.

 

Have you made any changes to the sound system or added any additional electrical loads to the truck?

 

No - it is exactly as it left the factory.

My 2023 does it random usually involving a phone call through the audio system.

I think also when the backup camera is operating

Not sure about the recovery procedure you describe though

I think a power off for a couple of minutes and back on restores the audio
